  7. SYNOPSIS

  9. -----------------------------------------
  10. aria2c [OPTIONS] URL ...
  11. aria2c [OPTIONS] -T TORRENT_FILE FILE ...
  12. aria2c [OPTIONS] -M METALINK_FILE
  13. -----------------------------------------
  14. DESCRIPTION
  15. -----------
  16. aria2 is a utility for downloading files. It has completely new design
  17. concept from its predecessor, Aria, and is written from scratch.
  18. aria2 has a segmented downloading engine in its core.
  19. It can download one file from multiple URLs or multiple connections from one
  20. URL. This results in very high speed downloading, much faster than ordinary
  21. browsers. This engine in was implemented in a single-thread model.
  22. The architecture is clean and easy to extend. aria2 currently supports HTTP,
  23. FTP, and BitTorrent. It also supports Metalink version 3.0.
  24. Please visit the project web site at http://aria2.sourceforge.net/
  25. OPTIONS

  39. Default: '1'
  40. --retry-wait=SEC::
  41. Set the seconds to wait to retry after an error
  42. has occured. Specify a value between 0 and 60.

  97. --file-allocation=METHOD::
  98. Specify file allocation method. METHOD is either
  99. 'none' or 'prealloc'. 'none' doesn't pre-allocate

  102. depending on the size of the file.
  103. Default: none
  104. --allow-overwrite=true|false::

  122. Default: true
  123. -c, --continue::
  124. Continue downloading a partially downloaded
  125. file. Use this option to resume a download
  126. started by a web browser or another program
